Part of the charm of Rising Road Tours is the small tour size. Altough our tours are priced for groups between four and eight participants, optimum tour size is six people. However, custom tours may be planned for larger or smaller groups. Our pricing is on a "sliding scale" based on the number of participants. What that means is that if you can convince family, friends, or coworkers (or even that leprechaun you saw at the Paddy's Day parade) to join up, the overall cost will be reduced. Approximate costs for all tours are listed below. These prices cover all accomodations and travel within Ireland and Scotland while you're on the escorted tour.

All our tour programs are priced on a "sliding scale." The tour prices listed above are based on a full complement of eight participants. A minimum of four and a maximum of eight are required for each tour program to be scheduled. Costs include all accommodations, in-country travel, entrance fees, travel insurance, and meals. Airfare is not included.

For example the Christmas in Ireland Tour for 2005 was priced at a minimum of $2075/person if the tour had a full complement of eight participants, a maximum of $2695/person if the tour consisted of four participants, and somewhere in between for five, six or seven. Prices quoted reflect two persons sharing a room. Single rooms are available for an additional supplement. During the high-traffic travel season (June - September), expenses are higher, thus the tour prices are higher.

All prices posted (as of 02/15/08) are based on 2008 projected costs. These costs are subject to change due to fluctuations in currency exchange rates, vendor increases, or fuel cost increases. Rising Road Tours makes every effort to keep prices low without sacrificing quality of service or accomodation.
